Sacred Art Yoga's co-founders Raye Lynn Rath and Becky Jordan (the owners of The Yoga Institute and Heart of Texas Yoga respectively) have worked together and co-taught in many venues and capacities since 1994. Sacred Art Yoga combines their talents and expertise to create this premier yoga teacher training program.

The Sacred Art Yoga teacher training certification course meets and exceeds the requirements for the Yoga Alliance National Certification 200RYT and is taught in Houston, Texas at the renowned Yoga Institute; one of the oldest and largest yoga schools in the U.S. The course spans two nine day sessions of intense theory and practice including an introduction to the three main schools of yogic philosophy while presenting the art of teaching in a way that honors all styles and lineages of yoga. Special emphasis is placed on structural integrity, alignment, therapeutics, the art of instruction, languaging skills, verbal and physical adjustments, sequencing, and the business of yoga.
